Local pupils take over the Marlowes!
On Wednesday 28th September, 25 pupils from Micklem Primary School in Hemel Hempstead took over the running of the Marlowes for the day.
The Takeover scheme is part of a nationwide initiative by the Children’s Commissioner to give young people an insight into a career in retail. The kids were given the opportunity to work alongside members of the Marlowes management, marketing and security teams to find out how each role contributes to the daily running of the busy shopping centre.
Vince Williams, general manager at Marlowes, commented: “We loved having the pupils from Micklem taking over the Marlowes for the day. It was fascinating to see and hear what they made of the jobs we do everyday.”
